For thousands of years they have been commissioned to capture generations of distinct cultures and families and until today,
this tradition is of greatest significance.
Capturing the uniqueness of the sitter's charisma is the most demanding aspect of creating a portrait and my work aspires to invite its viewer to involve with the portrayed persona.
Animals
How can we express true friendship with an animal?
A painting speaks more than a thousand words...
May it be a cat, a dog, a horse...? It does not matter,
as the bond with any kind of animal can enrich our lives essentially.
Again and again I find greatest fulfillment in being able to give these bonds of love a very unique expression.
Dedicating myself to an animal portrait, it is always very subsidiary to either get to know it personally or otherwise receiving a wider range of photographic references in order to grant it's individual character worthy presence.

The extraordinary grace of artistic figurative arrangements makes me appreciate the incredible beauty of our form of existence and I aspire to carefully dignify this this treasure within my own creativity.

Decorating our homes is one of the most ancient
and cross-cultural traditions.
Especially arrangements of flowers, fruits and vegetables
have an incomparable aesthetic, which enhances homes all over the world with eternal bloom and imperishable magnificence.
Also for painting, the incredible range of intense colors, forms and surfaces is an enormous treasure to draw from.
Creating arrangements for a specific location or occasion is always a fascinating challenge to conjure gorgeous oeuvres.

Looking at the night sky enfolds all kinds of mystic realms,
as the positions of the stars have always been of greatest meaning...
Depending on the time and place we are born, we can calculate the pertinent star constellation. Up until today the whole world has been rumoring that these particular constellations build the base for certain character traits.
May it be the major sun sign of a person or a triptych, including sun sign, moon sign and ascendant: A suchlike personal attention can be a wonderful gift to anyone with a sense for the mystic world.
